it's pretty quiet---I'm the only one awake lol |

well, I've been sitting here for like a minute trying to figure out what to write. This is not how journals are suppose to be!!! lol so I'm just gunna write random things lol. Last weekend we had like 4 cadets over!!! Brian-if you went to church the past few sundays, then you know who he is, Jon-he went to church a couple of times, Stephanie-I just met her and she has never come out to church before, and Anthony- he went to edify friday night, he is like funny!! I just met him friday. he said that he's coming out this weekend, so hopefully he will go to church with us saturday. Pray for Jon and Anthony, they are catholic. I don't know about stephanie, but I know brian is a believer.
I can't wait till the SUPERBOWL!! David gets to go to superbowl!!! i'm so excited.

I just got back from the softball game. (and DQ) We Won 19 to 14 (or 15) it was an awesome game!!! I'm so excited!!! well, today was fun. we cleaned out our attic!! Fun Fun Fun. Dave came home last saturday and sunday. He brought John Page with him. It was so much fun!!! pray for dave and all the cadets....They started their classes last Thursday and it is really hard. They have to train for the military and do college. it's allot of stuff. well, I can't think of anything else to type......so I'm gunna go. write more when there's something to write about lol

well, today is Alisa's party!! Dave is here and we are having so much fun :) my dad went to go pick up another cadet! (John page) Then John and David get to sleep over tonight and he gets to stay until 5:00 pm sunday :)!!! (I think)

We won the softball game last night!!! Now we are in the championships.
Well, I got braces yesterday. I'm in so much pain right now. I forgot how much these things hurt. ouch. I have these turbo things on the back of my two front teeth, so I can't bite down for like 3 weeks. So that means I can't chew my food, I just have to swallow it all. THIS IS SO ANNOYING! There is a big list of things I can't eat. I can't have gum, chips, anything chewy, they tell me to eat much less cake, ICE CREAM, pie. Drink much less soda, anything with sugar. The list goes on and on. Can't wait to get them off!!!
well, I'm gunna go do some school. And take some pain reliever. Write more when I have time. BYES

Well, this is my journal. I got it from Dannielle. THANKS DANNIELLE!!
I started school today. It is so much fun. I'm having a blast :) Today the DESCENDERS (bekah, monica, Hillary, Brooke, Amanda) are getting our pictures "professionally" done at the mall. It is kinda a last big thing all the Descenders do together before bekah leaves for Mass. :( I'm gunna miss her so much. But thankfully she isn't moving to Washington or Idaho or Hong Kong. But still, it's not here.
I talked to Dannielle on the phone for over 2 hrs last night! When I told Dannielle that that was a record for me, she laughed and said that she has talked on the phone with Dave B. for over 6 hrs!! I was like wowzers!! anyways..It was allot of fun. I could've talked to her all night, but I was kinda getting freaked out, b/c I was the only one awake in the house, and all the lights upstairs were out and I was downstairs all alone. And to make the situation even better, Dannielle was telling me scary stories!! lol
Well, I'm gunna go finish a math quiz. Write more when I can Byes:)

We serve a very creative God. In my journal I make a list of things I am thankful for. Every day I am in awe of the little things that I am thankful to God for making. I thank Him for the fireflies in the summer, and for the way the Bausch family laughs, for the way Matt Landeck smells. I thank Him for all that emotional stuff we girls “go gah-gah” about: sunsets with lots of red, pink, and purple, sparkling stars, glittering moonlight, ocean tides, soft piano music, and warm April showers when you can still see the sun and the bright, blue sky. I am overwhelmed by how creative my ultimate Artist is… He is so wondrous to create such beautiful things. He inspires me to move, and breath, and create.
God says we are His new creation. (2 Corinthians 5:17) We are made in His image, and we are all capable of creating for His glory. Maybe you love making paintings, or dancing. Maybe you are good at making pottery, singing, or you are an awesome actress, or you can write beautiful poems, or you can speak sign language.
There are other ways you might be creative and you never even thought about it in that way. My friend David has this really fun, infectious personality that draws people to him. His smile lights up a room. Stacey’s kindness and cute little laugh will make people feel welcome and special. Joanna rocks at any sport she plays. Sarah can sew her own clothes. Eliza’s ability to write poems will touch your heart and make you smile or cry. These are all tremendously creative gifts that can be used to praise God in amazing ways. But whatever your gifts are, you can worship God.
Artists don’t have to be athletes, painters, authors, or musical performers. Artists are people who are determined to look at the world in a new light, and see people and things in ways other people don’t. Artists have a knack for putting their heart and imagination into something and making it beautiful. There is no greater example than this than what Christ did for us.
Sometimes when we feel left out, it is probably because we aren’t using our gifts to glorify God. We are happiest when we serve Him, and doing what we were born to do. And we were born to create!!! Whether you create masterpieces with a pen, paintbrush, guitar, a batch of chocolate chip cookies, or you have the ability to teach little kids—you are creative.
Pay attention! Art is born in observation, awareness, and appreciation. God’s creation is wondrous and complex. Your life is rich in beauty, wonder, mystery, and a place for many miracles to happen. Express yourself! Be conscious of the little details, because you can find God in them.
